The Challenge
The existing WooCommerce setup lacked a tailored frontend for business clients. Wholesale ordering needed a streamlined path from selection to checkout with InPost locker delivery as the primary shipping option.
Key decision
Keep WooCommerce as the commerce engine while replacing the theme layer with a focused Nuxt storefront and controlled checkout.
Approach
Chose a headless Nuxt frontend connected to WooCommerce rather than a theme-based approach, keeping the checkout fully controllable. Integrated the InPost Geowidget map picker so customers select their locker during checkout. Environment variables configure shipping method IDs for correct Baselinker order mapping.
Key Highlights
- InPost Geowidget map picker for locker delivery selection at checkout
- WooCommerce headless backend with Baselinker shipping mapping
- Streamlined B2B ordering path from product to confirmation
Architecture
- Nuxt frontend with server-side rendering
- WooCommerce headless commerce backend
- InPost Geowidget API integration for locker pickup
- TypeScript throughout the frontend codebase
Outcome
A working B2B storefront that connects product selection to InPost delivery in a single streamlined checkout flow.
